Terraced Apartment in Mumbai

Conceived by Mumbai-based interior designer Jannat Vasi, this breathtaking apartment was built onto of a deserted space on the roof of a historical building in the heart of the bustling metropolis. The designer took this opportunity to fill the apartment with as much air and natural light as possible. So, despite the hidden engineering networks, the height of the ceilings is almost 5 m, and the sliding glass partitions blur the barrier between the interior and the open-air terrace.

In contrast with the evergreen oasis, the interior is dominated by calm gray tones. The entire floor of the apartment with bluish marble with orange veins. Against this background, the textures and surfaces of various materials play off one another.

In the master bedroom, the designer created a warm atmosphere with white oak panels. Calico Wallpaper’s Oceania Collection in the colorway Siren wallpaper adds color to the room. Behind them are cabinets and a door to the bathroom and dressing room.
