Supernova draws inspiration from the vast expanse of celestial bodies that illuminate the midnight sky. For generations, humanity has sought to unravel the universe’s secrets, and Supernova invites viewers to experience these cosmic wonders firsthand. With a blend of whimsical motifs and rich atmospheric textures, this design creates a contemporary galactic illusion that beautifully reflects the sky’s enchanting allure.
The collection represents the infinite universe we occupy. The constellations portrayed radiate a unique energy and design, enabling humanity to grow and explore within them. “Supernova” symbolizes the synergy between mystical ideas and creative inspiration.
Britt Zunino, Co-Founder and Principal Designer at Studio DB discusses the collection, “We looked toward the mesmerizing chaos of the night sky and then thought how enchanting it would be to envelop a room or adorn a ceiling with our vision of the cosmos. This collection sparkles and unveils the fantastical universe we’ve imagined, deeply connected to the history of astrology and the artistry of those who have reinterpreted it before us,” says Zunino.
