Lattice, created by artist Francesca DiMattio, reimagines the delicate floral motifs of 18th-century Sèvres porcelain at heroic scale. What was once a polite teacup accent becomes a sweeping declaration – an unapologetic bloom that wraps the room in bold pattern.

DiMattio’s process began with delicate sketches of soft roses, lilies and forget-me-nots drawn from period plates. The lattice structure comes alive into two coordinating murals. Flowers push through the grid, their tendrils escaping boundaries, creating a sense of movement and rebellion. The interplay of positive and negative space in the pattern changes with each colorway, so that in one moment it reads as an elegant silhouette, and in the next as a riot of color.

By amplifying dainty hand-painted flowers into an all-over lattice, this collection elevates domestic ornament into a new form of power and strength. These florals refuse to behave: they leap off the china, carpet walls and ceilings, and transform polite décor into domestic graffiti—feminine ornament with a fierce, confident voice.
