Fields by Rachel & Nicholas Cope is an exploration of the relationship and interactions between color, line, and shape. Inspired by Knoll’s history as a pioneer of modern design and the Copes’ boundary-pushing exploration of traditional techniques, Rachel and Nick developed a collection of three distinct patterns that reference modernism and color theory through a contemporary lens. As works of art that go beyond the frame, the designs achieve an organic serenity and expansiveness through large scale, structured repetition.
