Elizabeth Leriche: ‘Precious’

Following a successful launch at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Salone del Mobile earlier this year, Inverted Spaces made its French debut at PRECIOUS by Elizabeth Leriche, a special exhibition featuring work by a variety of artists, artisans and designers that are redefining ‘preciousness’ in their own way, from art and ornamentation to the precious value of time and the essence of life.

Created in collaboration with Amsterdam-based design studio BCXSY, Inverted Spaces is a non-repeating wall mural conceived from archival NASA space photography. The concept is an exploration of celestial spaces, both imagined and real, and celebrates the fascination of the infinity that has surrounded us since the dawn of mankind.

In PRECIOUS, Inverted Spaces in the color way Orion was installed on 13-foot tall panels that connect to form an octagonal shape surrounding new pieces by London-based lighting designer Michael Anastassiades.
